Ocean+ TV launches a second call for films

Launched during IMPAC 3, the 3rd International marine protected areas congress, Ocean+ Web TV invites you to join us at the World Parks Congress, organized by IUCN. It will be held from 12 to 19 November in Sydney, Australia. More than 5000 participants are expected. On this occasion, the Ocean + Web TV is launching a new call for films for the protection of the oceans.

In 2013, the IMPAC 3 Web TV relayed and gathered more than 150 films on marine protected areas and more generally on the protection of the marine environment worldwide.  Ocean+, the daily magazine of the congress allowed all those who could not be present to monitor the highlights of each day and to follow the plenary sessions via live streaming. The Web TV has helped to highlight the work of the congress in many ways as well as the recommendations and commitments of Ajaccio, the political aspect of IMPAC3.

Due to this success, the French Marine Protected Area Agency decided to continue the adventure by making this Web TV available to the marine stream of the World Parks Congress. It will provide a recap and beat the drums for the sessions and events dedicated to the protection of the marine environment and marine protected areas; it will also broadcast live certain presentations to be held in the Ocean+ Pavilion, which is also deployed by the French Marine Protected Areas Agency and IUCN.

With the collaborative approach that was used to prepare, programme and organize IMPAC3 and its Web TV, we now propose you to send us new video productions on the protection of the oceans.
The future success and sustainability of the Ocean + Web TV, as an interactive tool for the protection of oceans and for all those who contribute, depends on your cooperation.
